Coursework: Preliminary exercise feedback and LR

 1) Type up your teacher's feedback in full plus a summary of the comments you received from other students in the class.

WWW:
-Almost minute of video, immediately engaging with some really nice camerawork and editing.

EBI:
-Narrative (at least wider narrative) not entirely clear from this extract so that's something to consider for main production.

-Audio quality in trees - a lot of wind noise but dialogue is audible.

-I think the text on screen works for this but perhaps a little too much information? Also feels a little sci-fi in places with the music and font.

2) Using a combination of your own reflection on the preliminary exercise and the feedback you were given, write three WWW bullet points and three EBI bullet points for your work.

WWW:
-Really liked the concept, well thought out, editing was nice

-Good graphics

-Enigma was good

-Good suspense

EBI:
-The sound and dialogue is covered by the wind at one point

3) How effectively did you complete the objective you laid out in your mini preliminary exercise statement of intent?

I think I completed it so a certain level as it wasn't exactly what I would have wanted it to be.
However I think it did meet the main parts of what I wanted it to be, if I can build off my preliminary then I can work off that to improve that.

4) What have you learned from the preliminary exercise that will help you in the actual coursework project?

Have things such as music that sounds more like a crime drama, more camera angles, work on a wider narrative plot. I have learned to focus a bit more on narrative

5) Now you have completed the preliminary exercise, will you change anything about your actual coursework video plan? This could include your concept, cast/actors and narrative or technical elements such as mise-en-scene, camerawork or editing.

-Possibly add a scenes or dialogue that adds to a clearer/wider narrative.

-More camera work can convey more meanings such as status, feelings and more.
