Film poster 1: "Blade runner"

Narrative: According to the slogan in the top right it seems that humans have created something that has endangered their entire species and now they must take over again.
This may be a dystopian sort of movie where in the future humans are no longer the ones in control.
Genre: Action, thriller
Target audience: Young adults/adults 

Film poster 2: "Scary Movie 2"

Narrative: Based on the denotations it seems that the movie is about people who go to see a movie that is supposedly "scary" but the denotations show that this may be all "fun and games" as the title is called scary movie and the irony of this is that the movie looks more like a comedy.
Genre: Comedy, "horror"
Target audience: Yong adults/adults

Film poster 3: "Uzak"

Narrative: The poster denotes a man who lives a lonely life in an isolated village, the establishing shot connotes that he is all alone by himself and he now has to live/survive.
Genre: Some sort of narrative genre
Target audience: Adults

Film poster 4: "I'm not scared"

Narrative: A child has found a grave or some sort or a hole that goes somewhere like the underworld or a dead person in his own house or something that cannot be thought of by the likes of humans, however the closest thing we have is the child's expression which is almost like he is terrified and is attempting to hide.
Genre: Horror
Target audience: Young Adults/teens, Adults

Film poster 5: "Sin city"

Narrative: Based on the denotations of the poster there are multiple characters wearing black which could be like a detective movie about murders/crimes that the protagonists must solve, the connotations of the black suggest dread or death that will occur in the film or it just connotes the general dark tone of the movie.
Genre: Film Noir, action
Target audience: Adults

Film poster 6: "Pirates of the Caribbean-Dead man's chest"

Narrative: A movie about pirates on a quest to "retrieve" some treasure from a probable pirate legend but the giant Kraken in the background connotes that their voyage will be full of obstacles/ something they will need to fight in order to get what they desire.
Genre: Action thriller pirates
Target audience: Young adults, 

Film poster 7: "Bride and prejudice"

Narrative: A romance and comedy film based on the review located at the top of the poster, it's about marriage and the difficulties they may experience, and the people that are shown on the front connote that this may have some sort of religious or cultural problems that they may encounter.
Genre: Romance, Comedy
Target audience: Adults

Film poster 8: "Million dollar baby"

Narrative: A movie about a woman wanting to become some sort of fighter or as the name connotes that this woman has talents that would otherwise be worth "one million dollars"
the denotations of short clothing on the woman connote some sort of sport most likely boxing or some sort of martial art.
Genre: Action thriller
Target audience: Adults
